Love and Lust
Of the effects,
both seen and done,
Love is the best,-
Lust, the worst one.
Lust is attraction,
fun, fast, new action.
Love is patient and kind;
trust and understanding.
Love is support, sacrifice,
frustration, and elation.
Lust fades quickly;
brings jealousy.
Ignores other’s
dreams, deeds, and needs.
Love is for-always;
Love’s ever-lasting.
Love respects, is loyal,
disciplined, and growing.
Love is faith in another,
by self trusting and loving.
Lust is the fear
of not knowing.
Love is safety,
in absence of.
Love only knows truth,-
remembers the proof.
Love stays true, through all the
years, miles, fights, smiles, and tears.
Love is the best emotion,
one will ever hope to know.
Lust has a place,
in a Heart’s Home;
Fills the right soul,
once Love is grown.

Love’s – contraction of “love is”
Lust fades…and needs – Lust brings jealousy and other negative emotions, because lust on its own, is selfish.
Love is faith… loving – love is having faith in another, because you trust and love yourself and your decision making.
Lust is the fear…knowing – Lust fears being alone because it is not able to survive alone.
Love is safety…proof – love does not need to be reassured, it remembers the proof of love and does not focus on “if then,” or “what if,” love.
Lust has a place…once Love is grown – passion/desire has a place in healthy relationships, after love has grown. Lust such as this should be saved for mature relationships.
“Fills the right soul” – illusion to being filled with love, and with filling womb with love/child.
